Tecala and Forum Group join forces to give clients a broader range of services.

Tecala Turbocharges New IoT, Asset Tracking and Managed Print Service Offering With Forum Group Partner Agreement.

Award-winning technology services provider Tecala, and fastgrowing Australian owned managed services firm Forum Group shake up Australia’s managed ICT services market with partnership.

Sydney, 2nd September 2020 – The new agreement will see Forum and Tecala exchanging services to add to the repertoire of each organisation, taking advantage of the wealth of experience between the two companies and further strengthening both organisations’ ability to support IT managed services customer growth among both private and public sector organisations.

We will now be able to expand our service provision by integrating Forum Group’s range of managed print, asset tracking and IoT sensory management solutions into Tecala’s overall offering. At the same time, Forum Group will benefit by tapping into Tecala’s range of managed services, unified communications and cloud solutions to support digital technology transformation.

Both companies are set to benefit by amplifying their strong heritage as trusted technology providers as well as offering their combined skills sets to many of Australia’s leading enterprises to further improve their business outcomes and cost efficiencies.

“We create alliances with complimentary technology providers who are leaders in their respective industries. We look for strong cultural alignment – particularly in sharing our goal of driving optimal customer outcomes” said Pieter DeGunst, Managing Director, Tecala. “Forum Group’s successful track record of managed print and IoT solution deployments are testament to the focus and investment in skills and services which the company has provided to drive a great customer experience.”

In 2020, the use case for IoT technology has been well and truly made out. Gartner predicts that the global number of enterprise IoT devices will hit 7.6 billion by 2028. Australian businesses are preparing to spend significant sums on installations which will play a mission critical role in their operations. Leading the charge are the utilities, physical security, building automation, automotive and healthcare industries, all of which are using metering and monitoring solutions to overcome business challenges and boost operational efficiency.

“We’re looking forward to providing a gold standard in the provision of these technologies to Australian businesses and working with the Forum Group team to further driving efficiencies within our clients’ businesses,” said DeGunst.

Since commencing operations in November 2011, Forum Group has achieved outstanding growth through a combination of business acquisition and organic growth. The company’s commitment to business transformation has provided substantial benefits to its customers, with workflow and asset management solutions transforming operational practices, delivering significant improvements in business efficiency and most importantly, providing cost savings that go directly to business’ bottom line.

Commenting on the partnership, Bill Papas, CEO of Forum Group said: “We’re very thrilled to be embarking on this new relationship with Tecala. The partnership with Tecala will not only enable us to provide new ways to add value to our customers through a broadened range of products and solutions, it will also deliver benefits to Tecala’s customers through Forum’s specialisation in print and asset management.”

“Tecala has a proven track record in managed services in Australia, and with a company culture and customer-focussed ethos that aligns with our own, we’re very confident that this partnership will prove fruitful. We are committed to growing our presence in this space and I look forward to working with the entire team at Tecala in this next exciting chapter of Forum Group’s history.”

Tecala was established in 1997 and has grown year-on-year, continually enhancing its IT services and solutions to enable clients to experience rapid growth. Having a consultancy and advisory background heritage, Tecala’s approach is characterised by its ability to create collaborative and enduring partnerships with its clients, in which it navigates technology to deliver business outcomes.

DeGunst added “We’ve always focused on providing a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and services to enable our customers to achieve faster growth and optimal business performance. Indeed, over the past years we’ve invested in building our overall portfolio of cloud and workplace service and solutions and we’re now working with a number of strong vendors across multiple technology areas.”

“By partnering with Forum Group we can now offer even greater breadth and depth to the portfolio by providing better user experiences, optimised workflows, collaboration and digital infrastructure solutions. Our shared customer centric approach has really driven this alliance. We’re delighted to be working together – and we know our customers will be too.”
