Tecala, Australia’s award-winning technology services and IT consulting provider, has been named for the third year in a row as one of the world’s premier managed service providers and the number 1 MSP for mid-market Australian companies in the prestigious 2022 Channel Futures MSP 501 rankings.

Tecala was selected as one of the technology industry’s top-performing providers of managed services by the editors of Channel Futures in a survey ranking pure-play managed service providers and IT companies around the world that provide managed services in the technology industry.

For the past 16 years, Managed Service Providers (MSPs) from around the globe have submitted applications to be included on this definitive listing. The Channel Futures MSP 501 survey examines organisational performance based on annual sales, recurring revenue, profit margins, revenue mix, growth opportunities, innovation, technology solutions supported, and company and customer demographics.

“The 2022 Channel Futures MSP 501 winners are the highest-performing and most innovative IT providers in the industry today,” said Allison Francis, senior news editor for Channel Futures. “The 501 has truly evolved with the MSP market, as showcased by this year’s crop of winners. This is also the fifth consecutive year of application pool growth, making this year’s list one of the best on record.”

As Channel Futures explains, “Companies included on this list represent innovative and influential market leaders providing managed services to today’s most demanding customers around the world. These organisations stood out among an astounding number of applicants who pride themselves on their technical talent, growth-oriented business models and strategic partnerships with industry-leading vendors and tech suppliers.”

“The entire Tecala team is honoured to have been ranked in the Top 50 MSPs globally as well as the Number 1 MSP for Australian Mid-Market companies in the 2022 Channel Futures MSP 501 rankings,” said Pieter DeGunst, Managing Director, Tecala Group.

“We are deeply honoured by these rankings which are a testament to the success of our strategy in creating enduring partnerships where we navigate technology to deliver brilliant client outcomes.”

“Today, the winning combination of our range of technology services are underpinned by our consulting and advisory expertise. This perfectly aligns to helping customers accelerate their ongoing business transformation and propels them on their journey to becoming intelligent enterprises.”

“At the same time, the MSP 501 ranking this year could not have been achieved without the exceptional skills and dedication of our team right across the business in working with customers to develop solutions that meet the demanding requirements of today’s IT departments in delivering upon enterprise innovation.”

“We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the 2022 winners, and gratitude to the thousands of MSPs that have contributed to the continuing growth and success of the managed services sector,” said Kelly Danziger, general manager of Informa Tech Channels. “These providers are most certainly driving a new wave of innovation in the industry and are demonstrating a commitment to moving the MSP and entire channel forward.”

The MSP 501 winners will be recognised at the MSP 501 Awards Gala in Orlando, Florida in September.
