Tecala Achieves Arctic Wolf Gold Partner Status, Strengthening Security Operations Capabilities in Australia

Tecala Achieves Arctic Wolf Gold Partner Status, Strengthening Security Operations Capabilities in Australia

Tecala has officially achieved Gold Partner status with Arctic Wolf, marking a significant milestone in its mission to deliver outcome-driven cyber security services to Australian organisations.

As one of a select group of partners across APAC to reach this level, the recognition reflects Tecala’s deep investment in security operations, its growing cyber capability, and its commitment to helping customers navigate an increasingly complex threat landscape.

The partnership brings together Tecala’s end-to-end managed services expertise with Arctic Wolf’s industry-leading Security Operations platform, enabling organisations to strengthen their cyber resilience through a modern, proactive approach to threat detection and response.

Driving Real Security Outcomes

To combat today’s AI-powered threats, organisations need superintelligent outcomes in security operations—faster detection, more accurate investigations, and more decisive response across the entire attack surface. Through this partnership, Tecala is helping customers shift towards a more integrated and intelligence-led approach to security operations helping IT and security teams rapidly and confidently adopt Agentic AI to solve the trust and reliability challenges that have slowed adoption in cybersecurity.

Tecala can now leverage the Aurora Agentic SOC which combines Arctic Wolf’s pioneering Concierge Experience™ with turnkey agentic AI, significantly reducing the cost, complexity, and uncertainty that are slowing AI adoption across cybersecurity teams.

This aligns closely with Tecala’s broader strategy to provide practical, scalable solutions that reduce risk while supporting business agility.

Managing the Full Threat Lifecycle

A key differentiator of the Tecala and Arctic Wolf partnership is the ability to manage the full lifecycle of a threat, end to end. Arctic Wolf's Security Operations platform provides continuous monitoring, threat detection, and hunting and Response, while Tecala's operations team takes ownership of remediation and resolution, closing the loop from alert through to action.

This means customers benefit from a seamless, fully managed experience where threats are not just identified, but actively resolved, without the need to coordinate between multiple providers or maintain specialist in-house resources.

A Milestone Achievement for the Region

Achieving Gold Partner status is not only a recognition of technical capability, but also of the strength of collaboration between the two organisations.

Murray Mills, Head of Cyber Security at Tecala, commented:

“We’re incredibly proud to achieve Arctic Wolf Gold Partner status, particularly as one of the first partner in APAC to reach this milestone. This recognition reflects a true team effort across our sales, pre-sales, and operations functions, and highlights the depth of capability we’ve built in security operations.

What makes this achievement especially meaningful is the strength of our partnership with Arctic Wolf. Their team has been highly collaborative from day one, working alongside us to deliver practical, outcome-focused security solutions.

For our customers, this milestone represents more than a partner tier. It reinforces our ability to provide a modern, fully managed security operations capability that is proactive, scalable, and aligned to real business risk. Together with Arctic Wolf, we’re helping organisations strengthen their cyber resilience, improve visibility, and respond to threats with greater speed and confidence.

This is just the beginning of what we can achieve together, and we’re excited to continue delivering meaningful security outcomes for our customers.”

Strengthening Trust Through Security Leadership

This announcement follows Tecala's recent achievement of ISO 27001:2022 certification and the Microsoft Solutions Partner Designation for Security, reinforcing its commitment to the highest standards of information security management and validated technical competence across identity and access management, threat detection, security operations, endpoint management, and cloud security.

Together with Arctic Wolf Gold Partner status, these milestones position Tecala as one of a select group of Australian partners with proven, multi-vendor security operations capability,  combining certified governance frameworks with leading technology partnerships.

Partnering for the Future of Cyber Security

David Hayes, Head of Sales at Arctic Wolf, added:

“Tecala has demonstrated a clear commitment to delivering modern security operations outcomes for customers across Australia. Their ability to align strategy, technology, and service delivery makes them a standout partner in the region. Achieving Gold Partner status is a reflection of both their capability and their collaborative approach, and we are excited to continue building on this momentum together.”

As organisations continue to prioritise cyber resilience, the Tecala and Arctic Wolf partnership is well positioned to support businesses at every stage of their security journey.

From strengthening visibility and response capabilities to simplifying security operations, the focus remains clear: delivering measurable, real-world outcomes that enable organisations to operate with confidence.

Steven Hunter, Director of Engineering at Arctic Wolf added:

From an engineering perspective, this partnership is about delivering security outcomes, not just alerts. By combining Arctic Wolf’s security operations platform with Tecala’s operational ownership, we’re able to take customers beyond detection to full lifecycle response and remediation.

That end-to-end capability is critical in today’s threat landscape. It reduces complexity, removes the burden on internal teams, and ensures that risks are addressed quickly and effectively.

Achieving Gold Partner status reinforces the maturity of our delivery model and the strength of our integration with Arctic Wolf. It gives our customers confidence that they are supported by a team that can not only identify threats, but actively resolve them and continuously improve their security posture over time.
