Tecala Takes Home 2022 ARN ICT Innovation Award for Emerging Technology Innovation (Automation)

Tecala was honoured to be named as the winning recipient of the Australian Reseller News 2022 Tech Innovation Award for Emerging Technology (Automation).

Here at Tecala, we’ve been helping mid-market Australian businesses to grow through the innovative use of technology. We do this by focusing first on understanding our client’s business challenges, to then ensure that we align the right tech solutions to achieve their objectives.

Built on a baseline platform that incorporates our decades of experience in managed services, consulting, infrastructure and cloud computing, we make certain the appropriate foundations are in place to enable the successful implementation of emerging technologies.

We are delighted to have received Australian Reseller News’ recognition for Tecala’s dedicated Intelligent Business Practice business unit. Incorporating senior resources spanning business analysts, AI/ML practice managers, full stack developers, robotic process automation (RPA) engineers, and data engineers, with in excess of 20 years of experience in deploying global solutions and benefiting thousands of users.

In addition, we have also developed a technology stack that is fit for purpose for mid-sized organisations to adopt and deploy emerging technologies that were once limited (by cost and complexity) to only the largest organisations with the biggest budgets.

Take RPA for example. This was previously out of reach for anyone but the largest businesses. It was prohibitively expensive and littered with failed projects. We’ve put the technology within reach of much smaller firms, made it consumable as-a-service, and worked collaboratively with customers to get value from day one.

We’ve also solved the automation return-on-investment (ROI) challenge. While RPA hype promised adopters tremendous returns many projects got stuck and failed to deliver real business value. Tecala has taken a unique approach in that we focus very heavily on each individual use case. We help customers deploy the automation project, and then we stay to monitor, manage and optimise those processes in the same way our managed services practice has done for decades.

Celebrated during a black-tie event at ICC Sydney on 15 September that brought together more than 700 members of Australia’s channel community, this year’s Innovation Awards honoured the channel across no fewer than eight categories, spanning Partner Innovation, Tech Innovation, Australia-wide Innovation, Start-up Innovation, Personal Innovation, Vendor Innovation, Distributor Innovation and Hall of Fame.

In addition to taking home the Emerging Technology Award, we were absolutely delighted to be named as a finalist this year in several additional Australian Reseller News ICT Innovation Awards, including for partner innovation in the provision of Security and Mid-Market solutions. In addition, Jemma Healy, Marketing Manager, at Tecala was honoured as a finalist for the Personal Innovation in Marketing Excellence award.
