The Great Place to Work Certification leads participants through a comprehensive review process, which assesses the experiences of the workforce and captures their attitudes towards the workplace. By relying on employee feedback and impartial analysis, this certification empowers job seekers to identify companies that are genuinely seeking to create a remarkable company culture.
With skills shortages and fierce competition for talented people, having a Great Place to Work. Certification enables organisations to attract and retain talented people. It show’s you’re prioritising employee health and well-being, and doing everything you can to engage with employees to provide a satisfying working environment, in which they feel supported to grow in their roles.
Outwardly, it shows you’re fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, in which people feel motivated to work to their full potential. Productive and committed employees generally lead to customers having much better experiences from your organisation, thus creating a more loyal customer-base that ultimately leads to a more profitable and sustainable organisation. The benefits it has on your brand’s reputation and the impact it has on investor and media relations is also very significant.
Additionally, we were also listed in Australia’s Best Workplaces™ in Technology List, showcasing our commitment to building a high-trust culture, engaging our employees, and maximising their potential to facilitate innovation. We embrace a purpose-driven approach and adopt a people-first mindset, aligning with the ethos of the industry’s leading companies.
The Gender Pay Gap
The Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) has recently released data concerning gender pay gaps across more than 5000 companies. It reveals that industry leaders have gender pay disparities reaching as high as 43%.
In comparison, the disclosure of Tecala’s Gender Pay Gap reveals that, while we do have a small disparity, it’s significantly lower than industry averages.
Tecala’s Median Base Salary Gender Pay Gap: -1.0%
Tecala’s Median Total Remuneration Gender Pay Gap: -2.1%
The relatively lower gender pay gap at Tecala is one of the reasons why we have achieved our Great Place to Work Certification. It demonstrates our commitment to reducing the gender pay gap and promoting a culture of workplace equality.
We are proud to receive re-certification from the Great Place to Work organisation. This achievement represents a globally recognised, evidence-based validation of our dedication to fostering inclusive environments for all genders and ensuring exceptional employee experiences.
This achievement would not have been possible without the participation and transparency shared between our team, who help shape and evolve our company culture with every action and interaction they have with one another and our valued customers.
